Oh how I love maternity photographs! There is something about the anticipation of expecting, especially when its your first child. The hopes, the dreams, and even some of the fears, make for such an exciting time in a couple’s life. It seems like just yesterday that I had all of those feelings- its hard to believe how far removed you get from all of that once your baby days are over. So, each time I photograph a new mom and dad, I relish in their excitement, their anticipation, and their glow.
This couple was a wonderful one to relish with! I know that they are eagerly anticipating baby K’s arrival, and enjoying the last few bits of pregnancy. I gave them the usual advice- eat out ALOT, and go see movies- two things you do NOT do with a newborn! I really enjoyed working with this couple- mom was up for anything- and so was dad! And even more, they kept a smile on their face the whole time- so relaxed and patient. Hmm…I hope they can hold on to those feelings! And lucky for me, I captured, to date, my most favorite maternity image- can you guess which one? {Ok, if you cant scroll to the bottom}…
