Waiting for your first baby is such an amazing time- its filled with so many emotions, its hard to pinpoint whether you are estatic or petrafied {or, a little bit of both}. I had a newborn client ask me yesterday what it was like to go thru this stage with new parents. After I thought about it- even after she left- I realized what an awesome honor it is. Having a baby is life altering, on so many levels. Once you have been through this right of passage, you know exactly what I mean- there is NOTHING in this world like it. I have learned no matter how many ways I say it to my new mommy’s- until you do it all, its just words! I am sure for this new mom, it was just the same- no matter how many times I tell clients to go to the movies, and go eat dinner out- LOTS- they must just think I am crazy! Ahh…having a baby changes everything!
