Being a wedding photographer is overwhelming in itself- I cry every time a bride walks down the aisle. I think that has something to do with the fact that I have two girls, and I know someday they will make that same walk to their husband. Of course, as many of you already know, I am a sap- I cry over the silliest things. But, make it a wedding where the bride is a close friend, and the flower girl is Haylee, and I am a teary mess!

Caitlin was my second shooter last year, and Haylee’s teacher. KK {as haylee calls her} was so excited about her upcoming nuptials- but sadly, I think Haylee was even more excited! We kept trying to explain to her that she was not getting married {to Braydon, the ring bearer, and KK’s son} that she was just walking down the aisle with him. Well, as you can see, she never left Braydon’s side, and is so smitten with him. Oh, I am not ready for boys around my little girls!

KK and Justin married at the White Room loft, one of my absolute favorite places to photograph. The two were so adorable trying to hide from each other as we were shooting in St. Augustine.  Caitlin, as her typical bubble self, looked so amazing with all her purple details, down to the most fabulous purple shoes that she wore for the reception. KK also had white shoes for the ceremony {her something old}. The shoes were worn by her great aunt who died in May, at the age of 102.

Justin and Caitlin wed atop the building in the beautiful October sunset, and pledged their love in front of family and friends. The weather, the venue and the couple were nothing less than perfection! What a gorgeous day!

I see trouble already in my future!

KK and Justin, thank you so much for allowing me to capture the beginning of the next chapter in your love story, and for making my family such an important part of your wedding day. Special thanks to Rose of Sharon for the beautiful bouquets and tablescapes {did you see the wine corks in the arrangements- love it!} and to Vanity’s Edge Design for the decor and design. The cake was done by Miranda Fulterton and Caitlin’s beautiful dress is from Maggie Sottero.
