When I first met Tina and Jeremy, I instantly liked them. Tina, with her amazing laugh, and light up the room smile, and Jeremy, with his serious side, and his open adoration for Tina, made the couple a blast to work with. But none of that held a candle to the couple I witnessed at their fabulous reception at the White Room in downtown St. Augustine! Can you say amazingly fun?? These two re-choreographed the Dirty Dancing song mid way through the party- SO MUCH FUN! and Tina and one of her bridesmaids, Samantha, did a perfected Micheal Jackson rendition.  Never mind when parts of the wedding part broke out to “Bye, Bye, Bye” by the Backstreet Boys. I dont know that I have seen a wedding party have as much fun as this one did. Everyone danced till at least 11, it was AWESOME {yes, I just used that 80’s word}!

Tina wore a beautiful Alfred Angelo Disney Collection gown, in the Ariel style, and it looked so amazing on her! She lit up the moment that dress slid on her. Tina’s favorite color was pink, and she knew she wanted to tie pink in to her reception, but keep it romantic and elegant. Her details could not have fit her more perfectly, from the candied lollipops that her and her friends handmade, to the ice cream bar mid way through her reception, this wedding fit her elegant, fun loving personality to perfection.

When Tina told me her venue was the White Room, I could not have been more excited! I love this venue, as any of you who read my blog know. The exposed brick walls, the word floors, and the intimacy and romantic feel is the perfect spot for a St. Augustine wedding- and of course, the staff did not disappoint.  Shannon and her crew had the venue set up perfectly- and I loved the new direction for the wedding ceremony. The view out to the harbor is wonderful and the afternoon sun lit the ceremony in such yummy warm light.

Thank you Tina and Jeremy for allowing myself and my crew to capture your wedding, we had an amazing time!

And some fun details from Tina and Jeremy

How did you two meet?

We met in college during spring semester of our sophmore year.

How did he propose?

He took me to a really nice dinner at Azurea in the One Ocean hotel in Atlantic Beach. After dinner we walked along the beach at night and right before we left the beach he got on one knee and asked me to marry him!

How did you choose your theme? Flowers? and overall wedding design?

I knew I wanted pink because its one of my favorite colors. I wanted the wedding to have a romantic feeling so I went with a softer pink.

What was the best part of your wedding day?

The best part of the wedding was the whole day! Everything about the day was amazing from being with friends and family to dancing the night away! But if I had to choose the best part was marrying the love of my life and best friend and knowing we get to start our lives together from that moment on!

What do you want to always remember from your wedding day?

I want to remember how special the day was and that everyone had a great time!

“IF I only I knew!” what is one piece of advise you would give to brides planning their wedding day?

Advice I would give to future brides is don’t stress too much! I know it’s a lot of time and planning but in the end everything will work out and the most important thing is your marrying a man you love, not that the flowers don’t quite match your theme!

Honeymoon-

We went on our honeymoon to Saint Lucia at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian all inclusive resort– and it was amazing! Lots of things to see and do and it was nice to relax!

Extra details–I wore my grandfather’s college pin and grandmothers veil pearls on my garter. I also had my grandfathers fire fighter pin on a handkerchief around my wedding bouquet. We did not have an official best man because the best man, Cris, had passed away in December. We had a memorial at the wedding for him (sad detail but its meaningful to us). My friends and I made the cake pops which were the wedding favors. And most of the table decorations (except flowers) were DIY.

Bye Bye Bye is by nsync, not the Backstreet Boys.
