Finishing there is one of my favorite ways to close out a downtown session. From the Southbank you're looking straight across the river into the downtown skyline, which gives a completely different shot than anything on Laura Street or in the park. It's also right next to San Marco, so if that riverfront look is calling to you too, you can see more of it there.
