Downtown Jacksonville, San Marco, Riverside, Jacksonville Beach, and Atlantic Beach are some of my most-used locations for senior pictures in Jacksonville. Each gives us a completely different look, so we’ll choose locations based on your senior’s personality, style, and what they want their photos to feel like.

Both. Jacksonville gives us everything from downtown architecture and colorful neighborhoods to open coastline and natural beach settings. We’ll choose the location, or combination of locations, that feels most like your senior.

Yes. Downtown Jacksonville and San Marco or Riverside work really well together because they are only a few minutes apart. Combining them gives us even more variety without using a large part of your senior session driving between locations.

We can, but it depends on your session length and how much time you want at each location. Downtown Jacksonville to the beaches can take around 45 minutes depending on traffic, so the drive becomes part of your session timeline.

If having both city and beach images is important to you, we’ll plan the timing carefully so you still have enough time to create plenty of variety without the session feeling rushed.

I typically plan beach senior photos around the best light near the end of the day. The softer light leading into sunset is flattering, gives us beautiful dimension, and helps create the warm coastal look so many families love.

Choosing Downtown Jacksonville, San Marco, Riverside, Jacksonville Beach, or Atlantic Beach does not change the price of a standard KHP senior session. If you want to photograph somewhere outside my normal Jacksonville and Northeast Florida service area, we’ll discuss any additional travel during your consultation.

Some locations do require permits or have specific photography rules. That is something I research and handle as part of planning your senior session, so you do not have to figure it out on your own.

Yes. I photograph both senior girls and senior guys throughout Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. Every KHP senior session is planned around the individual senior, so their locations, outfits, interests, and overall style help shape what we create instead of following the same formula for everyone.

That is completely normal, and your senior does not need to know how to pose before their session. I guide them throughout the entire experience, from where to stand and what to do with their hands to movement, expression, and posing that feels natural for them.

Most seniors settle in pretty quickly once they realize they are not expected to figure everything out themselves. My job is to give them direction while creating senior portraits that still look and feel like who they really are.

I recommend reaching out about three to six months before you would ideally like to photograph, especially if you are hoping for a popular fall or spring date. You do not need to have your outfits, locations, or all the details figured out before booking.
