Senior Photos in Ponte Vedra Beach

Nocatee technically stretches into Ponte Vedra, and it's become one of the most requested backdrops for a different kind of session. The Nocatee Greenway's miles of shaded trails, open lawns, and boardwalks give us a completely different feel than the beach itself, a great option for a senior who wants something lush and green with the sand and sun.

Golden hour works beautifully along the oceanfront, and the Greenway trails in Nocatee stay shaded and comfortable even outside golden hour, which gives us more flexibility on timing than a straight beach session. Guana Reserve charges a small parking fee, a few dollars per car, so we plan for that ahead of time, and the reserve closes at sunset, which actually works in our favor for that last bit of golden light.

Timing & Getting Around

The Guana Tolomato Matanzas Reserve sits right along A1A in Ponte Vedra Beach, with boardwalks, dedicated beach access points, and more than 10 miles of trails through dunes, maritime hammock, and pine flatwoods. The Guana Dam and Lake add a completely different backdrop than the ocean, still water instead of waves, if a senior wants something wilder and more natural than a manicured shoreline.

PV isn't one look either. It moves from open oceanfront to a wild, protected reserve to the wide open trails and parks of Nocatee, and the town as well- all close enough together that we can shoot more than one in the same session.
