{The one} where we catch up with Mr. C

Mr. C is 8 months old, and sitting like a champion! Its always such a huge milestone in a young ones life! And, as most of my sitters- he is ready to crawl! Its funny, both my girls sat for quite awhile before there was ANY need to crawl.  Heck, ash never did it! Why get her knees dirty when someone could carry her there! But, in the studio, its different.  It seems kids crawl and sit at almost the same time! Its great for me, because I get to capture two important milestones on film.

Mr. J was no different! He is so ready to explore! And of course, everything had to be “mouth tested”- his faves were his own adorable brown shoes! He did such a great job in the studio, although his mom tells me he has developed his more serious side.  I am finding that’s common around this age as well- they begin to realize a world exists outside of mom and dad- and I am not sure that they are always so keen on that!  But, as you all know, the pensive looks are some of my favorite- I feel like I can see to the depths of their inquisitive little souls.  Although, if these kids could see, in about 10 years, what all the parents did to try to get them to smile…they kids would laugh for days!
