This is one of my favorite families! I met them last year for a birthday shoot, and since then have had the honor of photographing the new twins for one section of the family, and now engagement photos {and in june- wedding photos} for the other side of the family. Honestly, they are all so much fun! I mean, REALLY fun!
Amber & Jonathan were not sure they wanted to do engagement photos- but I promptly talked them out of that. Heck, its included in the package, so why not do it! I think, in a lot of ways engagement photos are as important as the wedding photos- you get to be YOU! and not in a tux and a big white dress with loads of people watching. Plus, I get to work with you, get to know your personalities, and that makes shooting on your wedding day that much better!
As usual this couple did not disappoint- I had a blast. We first started at Target- and yes, they said “Target?? Are you sure Kelly??”. But it was great! And it really loosened them up! Then we headed to the park, to get some more outdoor shots. It was a great location, and a great afternoon! These two are so obviously smitten with each other- and they are perfect combination of ying and yang! I had so much fun with both of them- and now I cant WAIT for the big day in June!

Our personal favorite was the the natural look of Amber and Jonathan with the rusty structure background; the tractor shot was fun; the hand in the pocket was different..liked the lighting.

The Target picture is my favorite so far- I think it really captures the playfulness of our relationship and how I always get such a kick out of Jon! CAN’T WAIT to see the rest!
