{The one} with a contest…

Ahh, do you hear that sound? Its called QUIET! and my house has been overtaken by it since Monday when the girls headed back to school. Do I sound HAPPY? ECSTATIC maybe? I love summer, but there is something about the kids heading back to school. Since I was a kid, I have always loved back to school shopping- the fresh notebooks, and pencil box, the freshly sharpened pencil, and the perfect box of crayola crayons. Fall is my favorite season, and school starts it off just right! I know I have said this to so many of you as we have chatted over the last few weeks. Of course, so many of you asked if I had seen the Office Depot commercial with the dad singing in the aisles as he is shopping for school supplies, he is signing b.c he is so happy. Well, close your eyes and imagine me, b.c thats what I have been doing all week! WOOHOO!!

What’s the Contest?

So, in honor of back to school, I am doing a contest- Tell me your best school story-make me laugh, make me cry, make me miss summer {oh, that will be a challenge}! The rules- it does not have to be from this summer, but it has to be TRUE! Ok, so I may never know, but you know how Karma is! If you have a picture to send, even better! Keep it simple, a paragraph or two….I know, I know, it sounds like SO MUCH writing, but come one, you know you write that much on facebook everyday!  Entries are due by August 31st, 2009!

Now, here is the GOOD part- you get a complimentary session and a either a framed 16×20 or a canvas 16×20. Thats right- a wall print- can you guys tell how happy I am the kids are back in school! WOOHOO!!
