So, how do we do this? Included Hair and makeup, and natural editing.
Why do we include Hair and Makeup? Stress reduction and making your day easier! Most consumer makeup has SPF, which is great for a normal day, but not for portraits. SPF is highly reflective, and shows every imperfection, and all the shine from the Florida humidity! By using special portraot products, our makeup artist knocks shine off you, and gives you a stunning natural finish that will stand up to the Florida weather. By using a pro, you also reduce the stress of the day! you don’t have to worry about getting the color just right, or buying special products for your photos. You get to decide how your makeup should be- beachy natural, or a more glam look. And, you to relax while it’s being done. No fighting with mom about the correct eye shadow shade, just a beautiful natural finish that shows off your beautiful features!
Next up is editing process, the secret sauce! We love to give your photos the extra pop you love… but keep your skin just like it should be! Capturing the true to nature colors, perfect exposure and the spot on posing, we are able to use minimal editing to get your photos to their end result- we have been perfecting this since 2007! We really strive to edit our images with an organic feel keeping skin and tones natural. your portraits will be a true reflection of your style and personality, and showcasing the authentic YOU! We do take special time in editing out anything that you wont have in 5 months… any blemishes, scars, or bruises that you don’t want in the final images, will be edited for your prints, and albums. We add teeth whitening as well… but no ROSS Smile!

Here’s three ways we keep our client’s natural features with our editing process
Natural Skin texture: we want our clients to retain the parts of their skin that make them who they are- pores, beauty marks, and freckles. We don’t want you to look like a plastic doll, with zero texture on your face. We work to keep all those elements so that your skin looks amazing, but will remove blemishes, dry skin, rough skin, and flakes.
Natural Features: We want to make sure your portraits represent that YOU that you are right now! We will not adjust any features like your nose, your lips, waist, etc. Who you are right at this moment is incredible, and our job is to show you that in your portraits. I always tell my clients not to let their selfies represent their self worth! I can’t take a good one either, and I do this for a living!
Natural colors: In our editing, we want colors to pop, but still represent their natural shade. Greens should be green, and reds should be red, not orange. We keep the colors as they were when we photographed them, no crazy processing to make whites glow, or everything turn brown!
